[2007 mar 26 mon] sketch
[2007 may 17 thurs] mostly done [2007 jul 01 sun] hair shading & lame bknd paint shop pro x fuel: Mozart, Verdi, Yuki Kajiura, Muse PLEASE fullview!! Contrary to popular belief, i worked really hard on this! (and suffered many nosebleeds, if you know what i mean!) Hahaha, most of this was drawn and painted on my third day of no sleep during finals. Hooray! I didn't render the fabric because... i didn't want to? On a positive note, i didn't use any reference for this. And now, click to view a closeup of luv! Axel and his... strange... hotness are copyright to Tetsuya Nomura and Square Enix |

i love the motion here! it looks like he's either ready for a dance off (so says the cartoon side of my mind)......or he's about to torch somebody...>>...
....either way, i'd watch
oh! and i looked at your original sketch too!...it looked like you were gonna have his Org. coat tied around his waist
probably woulda looked cool, but i'm glad you finished it this way

never grow up... there's a great difference between maturity and being "grown up", between being child-like and childish.... it is a sad thing indeed to lose one's inner-child, the ability to imagine, dream, and hope... so, never grow up...
